{"id":133825,"date":"2025-04-11T12:57:57","date_gmt":"2025-04-11T09:57:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/133825\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","slug":"ukrainian-court-approves-seizure-of-bielaruskalijs-assets","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/133825\/","title":{"rendered":"Ukrainian court approves seizure of Bie\u0142aruskalij\u2019s assets"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>April 11, <em>Pozirk<\/em>. <\/strong>The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (HACC) on Wednesday granted the Ukrainian justice ministry&#8217;s request to seize the Belarusian potash giant Bie\u0142aru\u015bkalij\u2019s assets for the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ministry said yesterday that the seized assets include more than 70,000 tons of potassium chloride, more than 250 million hryvni (over $6 million) in cash, 1,545 freight cars and a 48-percent stake in AHROROZKVIT, co-founded by Bie\u0142aruskalij\u2019s trade arm Belarusian Potash Company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Belarusian company was denied compensation under Ukrainian martial law.&nbsp;It may appeal the decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ukrainian justice ministry described Bie\u0142aruskalij as &#8220;the leading state producer of potash fertilizers in Belarus&#8221; and a major source of taxes for the country&#8217;s leadership, including its &#8220;self-proclaimed President Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It accused Bie\u0142aru\u015bkalij helping Russia in its war against Ukraine &#8220;through financial and economic relations with enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex and occupation administrations.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The company provided transport and premises for the stay of Ukrainian children transferred from the temporarily occupied territories to the territory of the Republic of Belarus,&#8221; it charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ministry thanked intelligence agencies, prosecutors and anti-corruption officials for information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More like this: <a href=\"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/ru\/news\/132658\/\">Ukraine sells almost $2-million worth of seized Belarusian fertilizers<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>April 11, Pozirk.
