April 14, Pozirk<\/em>. <\/strong>Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka has once again vented his frustration with Serbian developers Bogoljub and Dragomir Kari\u0107, without naming the latter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of 13 unfinished residential buildings across the country, eight are located at the Minsk Mir residential complex, he said at his meeting with the Minsk City Executive Committee chairman, U\u0142adzimir Kuchara\u016d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“They came to work here and signed investment agreements with us. They made commitments. If they want to work here, they must deliver,” he said, as quoted by his press office, in an apparent reference to the Serbian businessmen whose company, Dana Astra, is the Minsk Mir contractor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In November, financial police arrested Dana Astra director Svetlana Shchetko (\u015aviat\u0142ana \u0160\u010datko), her deputy Pavel Ovcharov (Pavie\u0142 A\u016d\u010daro\u016d) and other top managers after an audit conducted by the State Control Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2022, Bogoljub Kari\u0107 and Dana Astra were hit with European Union sanctions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In March 2025, the European General Court rejected an appeal from Dana Astra, noting that Kari\u0107 for supported \u0141uka\u0161enka’s regime and benefiting from dealings with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the ruling, the owners have personal connections with the Belarusian strongman, whose daughter-in-law, Lilija \u0141uka\u0161enka, holds a high-ranking position in the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
