April 14, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> A total of 291 new trucks from the Minsk-based MAZ truck and bus plant were sold on the Russian market in March 2025, the Russian consultancy ASM Holding reported. This represented a year on year decrease of 42.3 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In March, MAZ ranked 6th on the list of the best-selling brands in this segment of the Russian car market, unchanged from January and February. It took 5.6 percent of the market, after 5.1 percent and 4.3 percent in the previous months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sales leaders in March were KamAZ with 1,583 units (down 18.8 percent y\/y), SITRAK with 515 units (down 76.5 percent), GAZ with 400 vehicles (down 43 percent), FAW with 384 vehicles (down 71.1 percent) and Shacman with 373 cars (down 75.1 percent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first quarter of 2025, the Belarusian plant sold 855 trucks on the Russian market, 1.6 times less than in the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
