April 24, <\/strong>Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> A battalion of the 120th<\/sup> Detached Guards Mechanized Brigade is conducting an offensive exercise at the Asipovi\u010dski training ground in the Mahilo\u016d region, the defense ministry reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Troops are training to coordinate their movements on the battlefield with tank and artillery units, it added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Belarusian army has been holding maneuvers in various parts of the country for over two months. It announced the beginning of a large-scale exercise on February 3, followed by another one on March 24. It has not reported whether those maneuvers have drawn to a close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 10, the defense ministry reported that the 115th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment conducted a tactical drill at the Ru\u017eany bombing range in the Brest region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The defense office also said that armored vehicle crews of the Brest-based 38th Detached Guards Airborne Assault Brigade trained the same day in negotiating water obstacles under \u201cattack from sabotage forces.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
