May 12,\u00a0Pozirk<\/em>.\u00a0<\/strong>The Warsaw-based Center of Belarusian Solidarity (CBS), which assists Belarusian political emigrants in Poland, has suspended operation of its legal assistance unit, citing lack of funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CBS said that it will provide assistance to those whose applications have been accepted and is considering options to resume activities. The CBS has not suspended its operation, it added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The move comes after the CBS fell short of raising the \u20ac20,000 as planned. It raised about \u20ac5,900 between March 27 and May 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
