One in five companies registered in Belarus, excluding small businesses, were unprofitable in January\u2013March 2025. The share rose by 3.6 percent as compared with the proportion reported in the first quarter of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The profitability of sales decreased by 0.1 points to 6.2 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Companies&#8217; combined debt rose by 24.4 percent, accounts payable by 33.9 percent to 111.76 billion rubels ($34.13 billion) and&nbsp;debt on loans and borrowings by 17.6 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accounts receivable (money owed to companies) increased by 32.5 percent to 92.48 billion rubels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overdue debt expanded by 20.1 percent: overdue accounts payable, by 19.1 percent to 11.92 billion rubels; debt on loans and borrowings, by 24.4 percent; and accounts receivable, by 14.9 percent.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>May 27, Pozirk.
