June 9, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The exhibition \u201cHistory of Belarusian Resistance\u201d will open at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv on June 12, said Alaksiej Franckievi\u010d, head of the Vilna Biloru\u015b foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to him, the exhibition will present \u201cthe history of the nearly 30-year struggle of Belarusians against the dictatorship and Russia\u2019s attempts to annex Belarus.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLet\u2019s remember how Belarusians within the country resisted the advance of Russian troops into Ukraine after the start of a full-scale invasion, and continue to fight to this day,\u201d Franckievi\u010d said on Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also announced a round table to discuss the shared history of Belarus and Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On September 9, Franckievi\u010d publicized the opening of a Belarusian museum in Lviv, dedicated to the Belarusians who gave their lives for Ukraine from 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In July 2024, the National University of Kyiv rector announced that the school will resume the Belarusian language studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
