June 10, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Some of the Mazyr Oil Refinery employees arrested in late April, have been released as witnesses in a corruption case, Flagshtok <\/em>reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of them is Ihar Drahiel, the company\u2019s chief legal officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flagshtok <\/em>also confirmed the detention of Alaksandar Hud, head of the reconstruction and development directorate, and his wife Natalla Mi\u0161kova, an economist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another detainee was Siarhiej Trunin, deputy general director for logistics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Security forces also arrested former top managers of the plant: Maksim Dvorak, former deputy general director for logistics, and Siarhiej Tuka\u010d, former chief engineer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flagshtok <\/em>named Siarhiej Hramovi\u010d, first deputy general director and chief engineer, as \u201cthe highest-ranked executive of those arrested.\u201d The corporate website still lists him among the senior executives, it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, Flagshtok<\/em> reported the arrest of Hud\u2019s deputy Anton Huhalinski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sources cited by the media outlet assumed that the arrests were not politically motivated and were probably linked to corruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
