June 16, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Belarus\u2019 top diplomat Maksim Ry\u017eanko\u016d has met with Iranian envoy Alireza Sanei, the foreign ministry reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They discussed the bilateral and multilateral agendas with special attention to the escalation between Israel and Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ry\u017eanko\u016d affirmed that dialogue and negotiation are the only ways to resolve any conflict and emphasized that the military scenario \u201cposes a serious threat to regional and international stability and security, especially in connection with strikes on Iran\u2019s nuclear infrastructure under IAEA control.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Belarusian foreign ministry said the Iranian ambassador conveyed Tehran\u2019s position on the situation, voiced concern over the growing number of civilian casualties and outlined Iran\u2019s approaches to resolving the conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier in the day, the ministry strongly advised Belarusians against visiting Israel and Iran. It said it continued to monitor the situation and maintained contact with Belarusians in these countries. The ministry said evacuation lists were being compiled in Iran and it was coordinating its operations with Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
