June 19, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The interior ministry yesterday designated the Petitions.b\u0443 project as an \u201cextremist group,\u201d according to the latest update of the extremism register.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It named economist U\u0142adzimir Kava\u0142kin as an accomplice and banned the project\u2019s website and social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, on June 10, the Committee of State Security (KGB) added Adu.pl\u0430\u0441\u0435, its website and social media to the register. It named Darja Ruble\u016dskaja, Kaciaryna Bunina, Hanna Kom\u0142a\u010d and Viera Monina as involved in the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also updated the entry related to the Honest People opposition group with the names of Alena \u017dyvah\u0142od, Zaryna Sarokina, Cimafiej Ma\u0142acho\u016dski and Aleh Davyd\u010dyk and banned the group’s website and social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honest People had been declared \u201cextremist\u201d in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Petitions.by is a service for public, collective appeals to government bodies. It has been blocked inside Belarus since 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adu.pl\u0430\u0441\u0435 promotes educational opportunities and scholarships around the world among Belarusian youth. In April, the project\u2019s social media pages were declared \u201cextremist content.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The list of \u201cextremist groups\u201d contains 296 entries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
