June 20, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The BelPol association of former Belarusian law enforcers shared analytical data on Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s regime with the European External Action Service (EEAS) to adjust the European Union\u2019s sanctions on Minsk, its website says. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group met European diplomats at a closed briefing held by the Permanent Representation of Poland to the EU in Brussels, presenting a report on Minsk\u2019s involvement in Russia\u2019s war on Ukraine and evidence of sanctions evasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting also focused on the 18th package of EU sanctions and possible areas of their expansion. BelPol stressed that its data will help identify entities and individuals that should be sanctioned and make restrictions more effective by fixing vulnerabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EU is currently considering the 18th package of sanctions against Russia to punish its aggression against Ukraine. Some Belarusian companies may be included in this package. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
