{"id":143784,"date":"2025-06-23T16:49:37","date_gmt":"2025-06-23T13:49:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/143784\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","slug":"vilnius-disappointed-no-lithuanians-released-from-belarus-prisons","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/143784\/","title":{"rendered":"Vilnius disappointed: no Lithuanians released from Belarus prisons"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>June 23, <em>Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Vilnius has expressed regret that there were no Lithuanians among those pardoned by the Belarusian ruler on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The imprisoned Lithuanians are in trouble, and Vilnius will keep working to secure their release, Foreign Minister K\u0119stutis Budrys has said, according to <em>LRT<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The release of 14 political prisoners on June 21 is not a reason to lift sanctions against Belarus, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Budrys said the sanctions had been imposed to punish Belarus for human rights abuses, the lack of democracy and its support of Russia\u2019s war against Ukraine.
