June 24, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka and Russian President Vladimir Putin have discussed \u201ca whole range of topics\u201d during a \u201clong conversation\u201d by phone, a Telegram channel affiliated with \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s press office reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two leaders talked about the upcoming Eurasian Economic Union summit in Minsk, Belarusian-Russian union projects, regional issues and the international situation, including developments in Ukraine and the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u0141uka\u0161enka and Putin will hold more detailed talks in the Belarusian capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The leaders of all Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states, except for Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, have confirmed that they will come to Minsk for the bloc\u2019s economic forum scheduled for June 26. Pashinyan will participate via video link, Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ry\u017eanko\u016d announced last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday\u2019s forum will be held at the Belexpo international exhibition center. According to state media, more than 2,000 people from 29 countries have registered to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 27, Belarus will host a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. The EAEU will sign trade deals with Mongolia and the United Arab Emirates, the foreign minister said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
