June 28, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The proportion of unprofitable economic entities, except for small businesses, rose to 20 percent from January to April from 15.7 percent in the same period of 2024, according to Bie\u0142stat’s data. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first third of 2025, most loss-making entities were based in Minsk and the Minsk region. Their proportion rose by 6.5 points (from 20.1 percent to 26.6 percent) and 2.1 points (from 17.7 percent to 19.8 percent), respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Brest region recorded a substantial increase of 5.6 points, from 12.5 percent to 18.1 percent. The Mahilo\u016d region also reported a rise of 1.6 points, from 15.9 percent to 17.5 percent. The Homiel region experienced a notable growth of 4.8 points, from 10.7 percent to 15.5 percent. Finally, the Viciebsk region showed a 3.4-percent rise, from 11.8 percent to 15.2 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hrodna region reported a 0.3-point decrease, from 17.5 percent to 17.2 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The overall profitability of the country’s entities stood at 6.6 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
