The charge would carry a punishment ranging from community service to up to two years in prison, the bill says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bill has to pass the second reading and requires approval of the upper house and Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s signature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uncontrolled imports of drones represent a \u201cserious threat to the national security\u201d of Belarus, MP Andrej Lis <a href=\"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/ru\/news\/143034\/\">told<\/a> journalists earlier this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year, the Belarusian ruler issued an edict to prohibit individuals from importing, storing, selling, operating or producing civilian drones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Operating drones in the border area constitutes a minor offense in Belarus punishable by a fine of up to 2,100 rubels (about $700).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>June 30, Pozirk.
