June 30, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> From November 2024 to May 2025, employees of the National Revenue Administration of Poland (NRA) seized about 60,000 units of pharmaceutical and other medical products illegally imported into the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An NRA report noted that most of these products came from India and Ukraine, followed by the United States, South Korea, Russia and Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It said the goods included digestive agents, anti-anxiety drugs, dietary supplements, herbal products, anabolic steroids and painkillers, as well as surgical drapes, inhalers, heating patches, needles and syringes. They were mainly intended for consumers in Poland and other EU countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The value of the goods seized exceeded 800,000 zlotys (more than $220,000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Checks were carried out at parcel sorting points, airports, logistics centers, border crossings and roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According the report, the seized products are dangerous to health and life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The operation was carried out through Interpol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
