July 1, Pozirk<\/em>. <\/strong>Belarus\u2019 Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case against Mika\u0142aj Kaca\u0142apa\u016d, a co-founder and former top manager of the Wargaming game development company, the agency’s press office reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaca\u0142apa\u016d, who is based abroad, is accused of extremism and terrorism financing in connection with alleged donations to opposition and Ukraine-support initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this month, Moscow\u2019s Tagansky District Court has banned the operations of OOO Lesta, the Russian spin-off of Wargaming, the developer of the World of Tanks and World of Warships and other popular computer games, and ordered the seizure of its assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, the Russian Prosecutor General\u2019s Office accused Lesta, its owner Malik Khatazhaev and Belarusian businessman Viktar Kis\u0142y, another co-founder of Wargaming, of supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
