July 11, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Core inflation, which does not include changes in prices of seasonal goods, volatile or controlled prices, accelerated to 7.4 percent in June, the Belarusian central bank reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Core inflation has been rising since January, to 6.6 percent in April and 7.1 percent in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last month, fruit and vegetable prices climbed by 17.6 percent, while the growth of government-controlled prices and tariffs slowed down to 5.7 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consumer prices rose by 0.9 percent in June, 5.4 percent since the start of the year and 7.3 percent in the 12 months through June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
