July 15, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Belarus’ agricultural production fell by 2.7 percent in comparable prices in January-June from the level reported in the same period of 2024, Bie\u0142stat reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first half of 2024, agricultural production jumped by 10.2 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier in 2025, officials reported agricultural output growth of 3.3 percent for January, 1.2 percent for January\u2013February, and 1.7 percent for January\u2013March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Growth then slowed to 1.5 percent in January\u2013April and 1 percent in January\u2013May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Farms and households produced 902,400 tons of livestock and poultry, 4.58 million tons of milk and 1.95 billion eggs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning of May, the debt of agricultural, forestry and fishery entities rose by 13.7 percent year-on-year to 4.43 billion rubels, while overdue debt declined by 52 percent to 15.1 million rubels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In April 2025, the nominal average salary before taxes in the sector amounted to 2,168 rubels ($662), 18.3 percent below national average pay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
