Of that amount, 9.8 billion rubels was overdue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Businesses also reported 75 billion rubels in debts to others, with overdue debts totaling 9.5 billion rubels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The businesses&#8217; outstanding bank loans in national and foreign currencies amounted to 47.4 billion rubels, while overdue debts to banks rose by 45.2 percent to some 190 million rubels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In March, Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka instructed the government to restore state-owned enterprises to profitability urging the officials to pay special attention to agriculture.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>August 16,&nbsp;BPN.&nbsp;Belarusian businesses\u2019 profitability of goods sold fell by 1.4 percent year on year in the first half of 2023 to 9.3 percent, the National Statistics Committee (Bie\u0142stat) reports.
