August 6, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> The \u201cfirst military contingent\u201d has arrived in Belarus for the upcoming Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) exercise, the Belarusian defense ministry reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It did not say from which country the soldiers came. Their faces are blurred on the pictures. However, one picture features a train car with the Russian Railways logo and two flatcars carrying fuel trucks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier today, the ministry reported the arrival in Belarus of the first train with Russian military personnel and equipment for the Zapad-2025 exercise coming up in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CSTO will hold a series of maneuvers in Belarus from September 1 to 6. The bloc previously said the drills will include the Interaction 2025 exercise of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces, while Search 2025 and Echelon 2025 will focus on intelligence and logistics units\u2019 training, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
