{"id":150013,"date":"2025-08-07T18:50:21","date_gmt":"2025-08-07T15:50:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/150013\/"},"modified":"2026-02-24T20:40:57","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T20:40:57","slug":"poland-sanctions-belarusian-fertilizer-firm-linked-to-hrodna-azot","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/150013\/","title":{"rendered":"Poland sanctions another firm linked to Hrodna Azot"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>August 7, <em>Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The Belarusian company HrandHranit has been added to the sanctions list by the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration at the request of the National Revenue Administration (NRA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NRA said the company participated in circumventing sanctions against a Belarusian fertilizer producer, Hrodna Azot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The department established that in January 2025, HrandHranit was taken over by a person associated with Techna\u015bpiectrejdynh and Techna\u015bpiectrejdynhEkspart, which had been added to the ministry\u2019s sanctions list on December 18, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since March 2025, HrandHranit has been renting a small warehouse near Minsk \u201cwithout any external industrial structures (pipelines, external tanks).\u201d The company owned equipment for the production of liquid agricultural fertilizers. \u201cHowever, HrandHranit indicated that the fertilizers were produced at the Hrodna Azot plant and used its infrastructure. The goods were shipped from Hrodna, and HrandHranit had business contacts with Hrodna Azot, which suggests that Hrodna Azot was the actual manufacturer of this product,\u201d Polish officials said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HrandHranit is the seventh entity trading in\u00a0Hrodna Azot fertilizers added to the national sanctions list at the NRA\u2019s request. Entities on the list face restrictive measures as asset freezes, exclusion from public procurement and bans on access to financial assets or economic resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The HrandHranit website claims that since May 2025 the company has produced of nitrogen fertilizers. Its office is located in Minsk, while its production facility is located min Fanipal, Minsk region.
