August 12, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> According to a statement made by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk today at a government meeting, Poland has launched deportation procedures against 63 people, including six Belarusians, who disturbed the peace at the recent concert of Belarusian rapper Maks Kor\u017e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey will have to leave the country, either voluntarily or by force, if they do not leave voluntarily,\u201d Tusk said, as quoted by Rzeczpospolita<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the premier, this concerns six Belarusian nationals and 57 Ukrainian nationals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, the Polish interior ministry threatened to deport all foreigners who broke the law at the gig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll those who broke the law during this concert will be punished. If these people broke the law in a way that there is no guarantee that they will not commit a crime in Poland, we will certainly implement procedures to return them to their country of origin,\u201d Polish Interior Minister Marcin Kierwi\u0144ski said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kor\u017e performed for an estimated 60,000 people at the Warsaw National Stadium on August 9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police said they arrested 109 people for various offenses, such as carrying pyrotechnics or possessing drugs. Besides, a group of spectators displayed the Ukrainian nationalist red and black flag in a controversial reminder of WWII massacres of Poles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also during the gig, Kor\u017e, who has lived in exile since 2024 for fear of reprisals, made an antiwar speech. \u201cWe should stop it, friends. Stop the war,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
