August 19, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> A Belarusian national has been charged with serving foreign intelligence and preparing to carry out sabotage activities, such as setting fire to a warehouse in the Lublin region, according to the Polish prosecutor\u2019s office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It said that 27-year-old Belarusian national Vital S. was arrested on August 13 after collecting data on a warehouse facility in the Lublin region in July 2025\u2014taking photos and videos and then passing them to foreign agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The man admitted to the charges and was jailed for three months as a preventive measure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Poland, preparing sabotage for foreign intelligence is punishable by up to eight years in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, on August 6, the country\u2019s prosecutor\u2019s office sent a criminal case against six members of an organized crime group to the District Court in Wroc\u0142aw. They were charged with organizing and committing acts of sabotage, illegal trafficking in weapons and drugs and other crimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The indictment concerned arson and fire at a Gdynia restaurant (2023) and arson at a Marki pallet warehouse on behalf of foreign intelligence (2024). Officials named \u015aciapan K. and Andrej B. among those charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
