August 23, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Ahead of the military maneuvers the CSTO and the Union State will hold in Belarus in September, the Ukrainian foreign ministry has urged the Belarusian authorities to be reasonable, keep away from Ukraine\u2019s borders and not provoke its Defense Forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kyiv identified the exercises as Interaction 2025, Search 2025, Echelon 2025 and Zapad-2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ministry said that Belarus has been an accomplice to Russia\u2019s crime of aggression since 2022. Minsk provided the Russian occupiers with territory and airspace to attack Ukraine and continues to provide political, military, technical, informational and other support to Russia in its unprovoked war of conquest, it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The foreign ministry stressed that the regimes in Moscow and Minsk pose a direct threat not only to Ukraine but also to Poland, the Baltic states and all of Europe. Furthermore, the Minsk-Moscow cooperation hinders US President Donald Trump\u2019s efforts to end the war, it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The buildup of russian troops on the borders of Ukraine in 2021-2022 took place under the guise of Zapad-2021, a joint military exercise between Russia and Belarus,\u201d the statement reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ministry warned Minsk against \u201creckless provocations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
