{"id":152654,"date":"2025-08-26T18:11:07","date_gmt":"2025-08-26T15:11:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/152654\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","slug":"funeral-held-in-ukraine-for-belarusian-volunteer-fighter-miesiac","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/152654\/","title":{"rendered":"Funeral held in Ukraine for Belarusian volunteer fighter \u201cMiesiac\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>August 26, <em>Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> The Kastu\u015b Kalino\u016dski Regiment (KKR) reports that its soldiers took part in the funeral for Belarusian volunteer fighter \u201cMiesiac\u201d in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although Miesiac was transferred to the National Guard&#8217;s 13th Khartiia Brigade a few months ago, he \u201cconsidered himself part of the Kastu\u015b Kalino\u016dski Regiment\u2019s big family,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was killed in action on August 19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is survived by his wife and newborn child. The KKR announced a fundraiser to support them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The volunteer\u2019s death was reported yesterday by Kolektyvy Solidarnosti, an association of Ukrainian anarchists. It emphasized that Miesiac had participated in Belarusian protests and persecuted by Belarusian authorities for his position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2023, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, first as a combat medic and then in a fire support company and a sapper unit.
