September 9, Pozirk<\/em>. <\/strong>Belarus continues to fulfill Russia\u2019s defense orders, supplying sights and ammunition part, the BelPol opposition intelligence group reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, Russia has ordered at least 1,180 Sosna-U tank sights and electronic modules for them from the Minsk-based AAT Pielenh, the investigative team said, adding that it has documents to confirm the exports. According to BelPol, the sights are part of the Kalina fire control system, used to upgrade the \u0422-72B3, \u0422-80BVM and \u0422-90\u041c main battle tanks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pielenh also makes commanders\u2019 panoramic sights for Russian tanks with each shipment making up more than 100 units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company continues to expand production. On August 2, it opened a new research workshop, BelPol said. \u201cPielenh is hiring workers, for example, optics polishers, to produce sights,\u201d it stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides supplying Russia with sights, Belarus continues to ship parts for 122-mm rockets for the Grad multiple rocket launch system. The team pointed out that on July 17, a delegation from the Belarusian State Defense Industry Committee visited Russia\u2019s Tula province. The delegation included Juryj \u010corny, CEO of the Dziar\u017eynsk-based Precision Electromechanical Plant (Zavod Dak\u0142adnaj Elektramiechaniki), which manufactures parts for the 122-mm projectiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

U\u0142adzis\u0142a\u016d Pa\u016dlenka, CEO of the Lehma\u0161 metalworking plant based in Or\u0161a, Viciebsk region, also attended the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLehma\u0161 produces the casing of rocket warheads, rocket steel tube bodies and some other components. The products from both enterprises are shipped to Tula\u2019s joint-stock company NVO SPLAV,\u201d BelPol said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team pointed out that the State Defense Industry Committee and the Ministry of Industry \u201ccontinue to supply Russia with components and sets for ammunition in 2025.\u201d BelPol plans to release a detailed report on this year\u2019s military exports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
