September 15, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The Belarusian Railway (B\u010c) has confirmed the removal of Stadler passenger trains from three routes between the capital and populated areas in the Minsk region\u2019s Zas\u0142a\u016dje, Puchavi\u010dy and Smaliavi\u010dy districts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDue to the scheduled repairs of urban line trains . . . passenger transportation on the Minsk\u2013Bie\u0142aru\u015b\u2013Minsk, Minsk\u2013Rudziensk\u2013Minsk and Minsk\u2013\u010cyrvony \u015aciah\u2013Minsk routes will be carried out by ER9 series electric trains from September 15, 2025,\u201d the statement on the B\u010c website reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, independent media, citing passenger posts on social networks, reported the absence of Stadler trains on several routes running from Minsk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ER9 are electric trainsets produced between 1962 and 2002 at R\u012bgas Vagonb\u016bves R\u016bpn\u012bca (RVR), a Latvian manufacturer of railway rolling stock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, the Swiss manufacturer Stadler denied signing a contract with B\u010c for building trains. According to a Stadler executive, the company fully complies with the sanctions imposed on Belarus, and because of this, its production facility in Belarus operates at a minimum capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
