September 19, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Moscow’s companies account for a quarter of Russia’s non-primary and non-energy exports to Belarus, says a report presented at the September 18 meeting between Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and U\u0142adzimir Kuchara\u016d, head of the Minsk City Executive Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting took place in Moscow as part of Minsk Days taking place from September 18 to 21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first half of 2025, exports of this type to Belarus rose by 19 per cent year on year, according to Sobyanin\u2019s press office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moscow reportedly supplies Belarus with electronic equipment, high-strength polyamide and polyester fabrics, plugs and sockets, circuit breakers, packaged medicines, vaccines, cotton fabrics, curtains, clothing patterns and finished products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moscow also exports pork, soda drinks, bread, pastries, dairy products and chocolate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarus is reportedly the fourth-largest foreign trading partner of Moscow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The country is the sole foreign supplier of white sugar to Moscow, accounting for 93 percent of the city’s dairy imports and 69 percent of meat supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first half of 2025, food exports from Belarus increased by 20 percent year on year, totaling $1.73 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 300 retail outlets in Moscow sell Belarus-made products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
