September 19, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> The Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs has added fourteen people to the list of \u201cpersons involved in extremist activity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three of them, namely Viktar \u017ddaniuk, Ja\u016dhien Nievar and Andrej Ku\u017amian\u010duk, are in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next to six names, officials put the note \u201cconviction not expunged.\u201d It usually means a sentence not involving imprisonment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are Anton D\u017eurko, Anastasija \u0141ysienka, U\u0142adzimir Roslik, Valancin Niki\u0161yn, Maksim Arcymienia and Raman Chomi\u010d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The list also includes Ivan Bialkovi\u010d, \u015aviat\u0142ana \u0160viec, Jahor Ku\u017amin, Ihar Kapa\u010denia and Ludmi\u0142a Rutko\u016dskaja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fourteen were accused of crimes such as mass riots; violent disorder; extremism funding; or assisting extremist activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inclusion of convicts in the extremist list is one of the mechanisms of mass political reprisals that have been ongoing in Belarus since 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The document posted on the ministry\u2019s website contains 5,784 entries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
