September 21, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> The BelPol investigative group has reported on the construction of a new building at the National Clinical Medical Center (NCMC) run by Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s Property Management Directorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new therapeutic and prophylactic facility is being built near the main NCMC buildings in the town of \u017ddanovi\u010dy just outside Minsk on the plot previously occupied by the state-owned health center \u015avitanak and \u0141azurny spa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to BelPol, in September 2023, \u0141uka\u0161enka ordered the sale of \u015avitanak, \u0141azurny and the land to LandResurs for some $1.5 million. This was done \u201cwithout bidding or media announcements.\u201d \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s order was labeled \u201cFor official use.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, a multifunctional complex of more than 14,000 sq meters is being built on the same plot. According to BelPol, it will include \u201ca spa, baths, a gym, a coffee shop, massage rooms, a font, a conference room, an hotel and office space.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organization estimates the cost of construction at $75 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The commissioning of the facilities is scheduled for November 2025. By December 31, LandResurs must transfer the development to the NCMC free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the investigators, the LandResurs company was registered in Po\u0142ack, Viciebsk region, in December 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BelPol has linked the company to businessman Mika\u0142aj Vierabiej.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor constructing the new medical facility for \u0141uka\u0161enka, Vierabiej first got the opportunity to trade in petroleum products, and now he has taken over a firm directly related to The Heart of the Capital investment, which will be partially financed from the state budget and will be exempt from income, real estate and land taxes by \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s personal order,\u201d the investigation said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
