{"id":157309,"date":"2025-09-26T17:52:50","date_gmt":"2025-09-26T14:52:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/157309\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","slug":"bysol-expelled-from-international-humanitarian-fund-after-refusing-to-sack-stryzak","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/157309\/","title":{"rendered":"BySol expelled from International Humanitarian Fund after refusing to sack Stry\u017eak"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>September 26, <em>Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The BySol Solidarity Foundation has confirmed to <em>Pozirk<\/em> reports of its expulsion from the International Humanitarian Fund (IHF), a major international fundraiser for victims of repression in Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BySol has received the results of the vote to remove it from the IHF following its decision to retain co-founder Andrej Stry\u017eak despite sexual harassment allegations that were found credible by BySol\u2019s internal commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of the expulsion, BySol has put a \u201cretraining project for former political prisoners\u201d on hold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IHF was established in 2024, with Norway making the first contribution. The fund aims to support the families of Belarus\u2019 victims of political repression. It finances health care, recuperation, day-to-day needs and mental counseling for released political prisoners and individuals subjected to political repression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Latvia, Estonia, Luxembourg, Finland and Spain have made donations to the IHF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/ru\/news\/156859\/\">BySol votes to retain Stry\u017eak after sexual harassment probe<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>September 26, Pozirk.
