September 29, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has mocked Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s proposal to discuss ending the war on Russia\u2019s \u201cfavorable terms.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Zelensky, it is difficult to comment on \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s statements since he is in his own world. He isolated himself in a house the size of a country and has lived there for three decades, the Ukrainian leader told the Warsaw Security Forum in a video address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He reminded \u0141uka\u0161enka that Belarus is an independent country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although \u0141uka\u0161enka lives in his own world, sometimes Vladimir Putin visits his realm, and the two elderly men have certain discussions, Zelensky said. \u201cSo it is difficult to comment. Let him talk,\u201d he added, which made people laugh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Belarusian leader, known for his optimistic remarks about Russia\u2019s military campaign in Ukraine\u2014including his claim that Russia could capture Ukraine in three days\u2014did not specify the proposals but asserted that they had been approved by Washington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If Ukraine refuses, it will be worse for the country, he said. \u201cThey will lose Ukraine. They should have stopped earlier\u2014then all the east would still be Ukrainian, except for Crimea. But they didn\u2019t stop and lost the east. If they don\u2019t stop now, they will lose the whole of Ukraine,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
