September 29, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The Belarusian industry ministry should restructure exports and develop a new marketing strategy, Industry Minister Andrej Ku\u017aniaco\u016d told news.by<\/em> in an interview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur marketing services are lagging behind,\u201d the official said, calling for better promotion of Belarus-made goods, including in African countries that represent new markets, particularly for agricultural machinery sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarusian exports to this region rose by 40 percent, Ku\u017aniaco\u016d said without specifying the period, and announced a 70-percent surge by the end of 2025. However, exports to Africa will not be able to offset losses in other markets, he noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official linked declining sales in Russia to equipment market saturation, predicting a recovery in demand by 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stockpiles of unsold industrial goods rose by 36.2 percent year on year in the first eight months of 2025, with Belarus\u2019 industrial production dropping by 0.8 percent from January to August year on year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past few years, democratic countries have imposed multiple restrictions on Belarus over human rights abuses, alleged vote rigging in the 2020 presidential election, a brutal crackdown on protesters, the forced landing of a Ryanair flight, a migration crisis at the European Union border, as well as support for Russia\u2019s war in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
