October 2, Pozirk<\/em>. <\/strong>\u015aviat\u0142ana Cichano\u016dskaja has thanked Emmanuel Macron for his consistent support of a democratic Belarus and solidarity with the Belarusian people, according to her press office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe really appreciate that France continues to stand by our side in the fight for freedom and human rights,\u201d the Belarusian opposition leader told the French president on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cichano\u016dskaja also met with Moldovan President Maia Sandu. The Belarusian expressed support for the Moldovan people, \u201cwho show that even in difficult circumstances, one can confidently walk the path of freedom and a European future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCongratulations again to PAS on its victory in the parliamentary election! Moldova is an example for us all. I admire your leadership, courage and dedication to democratic values,\u201d Cichano\u016dskaja said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moldova held the parliamentary election on September 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS), founded by the pro-European president, won the vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
