October 4, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned Russia\u2019s gasoline imports from Belarus in an address to the nation last night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zelensky said Russia is importing gasoline from Asia and Europe, including its Minsk ally. He called this situation a result of Vladimir Putin\u2019s war: the \u201cgas station country\u201d is importing gas instead of selling it. Specifically, he attributed the gas shortages to Ukrainian attacks on Russia\u2019s petrochemical facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThese are the right results produced by our guys: the Security Service of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, our intelligence and our weapons manufacturers,\u201d Zelensky stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said that at yesterday\u2019s meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief\u2019s Headquarters, he received a report on \u201ccompletely fair strikes against Russian facilities.\u201d He then thanked Ukrainian soldiers for their precision. \u201cRussia is ruining the lives of our people and must answer for that. Our strike range will increase,\u201d the president said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Russia and Ukraine are targeting each other\u2019s energy infrastructure ahead of winter. Russia has focused on electricity-generating facilities, while Ukraine has targeted oil refineries. Russians have faced gas shortages, and media reports indicate an increase of gasoline imports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
