October 7, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Ukraine\u2019s prosecutor has sent a case against a Kovel district resident to court, accusing him of treason under martial law, the Volyn Region Prosecutor\u2019s Office reported yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In December 2024, the accused \u201caccepted an offer from an acquaintance for paid cooperation with a foreign intelligence service.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAn accomplice connected the Volyn resident with a Belarusian secret service officer, who was willing to pay for photos and videos of defense installations located near the state border of Ukraine,\u201d the prosecutors said<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until May 2025, the accused \u201cwas sending photos and videos of fortifications in the border area to his curator\u201d and \u201cperforming other tasks within secret and confidential cooperation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He allegedly received cash for it to his bank card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
