October 15, Pozirk.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong> The real disposable income (adjusted for inflation) rose by 10 percent year on year in January-August, at the same rate as in January-July, the National Statistical Committee (Bie\u0142stat) reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rate has steadily declined throughout the year, with real income rising 13.8 percent in January, 12.5 percent in January\u2013February, 12 percent in January\u2013March ,10.8 percent in January\u2013April and 10.5 percent in January-May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year, real disposable income was up 9.7 percent after rising 6.3 percent in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarusians\u2019 nominal average pay before taxes amounted to 2.763 rubels in August (about $931), down 0.3 percent from the July level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The government projected a 4-percent increase in real income for 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
