October 20, Pozirk. <\/em><\/strong>Minsk and the Minsk region accounted for 50.7 percent of Belarus\u2019 gross domestic product in January-September, according to Pozirk<\/em>\u2018s analysis of official data from the National Statistical Committee (Bie\u0142stat).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first nine months of 2025, the economy grew by 1.6 percent year on year to 206.8 billion rubels (about $69.3 billion at the current exchange rate).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GDP of Minsk amounted to 65.8 billion rubels; the Minsk region, to some 40 billion rubels; the Brest region, to 24 billion rubels; the Homiel region, to 22.5 billion rubels; the Hrodna region, to 21.1 billion rubels; the Viciebsk region, to 18 billion rubels; and the Mahilo\u016d region, to 16 billion rubels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only the Homiel and Hrodna regions posted increases in their economic growth year on year, with 1.7 and 1 percent annual growth, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
