October 31, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka renewed his contempt toward Europe during a visit to the Biarezinski Biosphere Reserve, calling the EU \u201cstinky\u201d and insisting it owes Belarus for clean air, even as he pledged Belarus would not enter a war unless attacked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The time will come for the \u201cstinky\u201d Europe to pay Belarus for clean air generated by the country\u2019s preserved forests and wetlands, he said during a visit to the reserve in the Viciebsk region\u2019s Lepel district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s opinion, these resources are \u201cpractically non-existent\u201d in the European Union, and the winds carry Belarus\u2019 clean air there. \u201cInstead of paying for it, they\u2019re trying to stifle us with sanctions. It\u2019s going to change. It\u2019s already changing,\u201d the state media quoted the strongman as saying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, he said that Belarus will not enter a war unless attacked, and that the nation must weather these uncertain times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf we do, our children will live. If we don\u2019t, we\u2019ll be sucked into this whirlpool. There are about fifty conflicts and wars in the world. I would not like us to participate in the 51st. But I promise that we do not want to fight and will not get involved in this war if they don\u2019t touch us,\u201d \u0141uka\u0161enka said, omitting the fact that his regime has been helping Russia to wage the war of aggression for over three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
