November 3, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka has approved the key economic targets for 2026, with the gross domestic product (GDP) expected to grow by 2.8 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plan also calls for a 3.1-percent rise in investments. Exports of goods and services are expected to climb by 3.7 percent and real disposable incomes, by 4.8 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inflation is not expected to exceed 7 percent, while the international reserves are slated to amount to at least $9.2 billion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The key targets for 2025 included a 4.1-percent GDP increase, yet economic growth decelerated to 1.6 percent in January-September. Inflation accelerated to 7.1 percent in the first nine months, while Luka\u0161enka planned to keep it below 5 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exports of goods and services rose only by1 percent in this period and are unlikely to reach the projected increase of 5.4 percent this year. However, real disposable income jumped 10 percent in January-August, well above the forecast 4 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
