November 19, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Minsk and the Minsk region accounted for 50.7 percent of Belarus\u2019 gross domestic product in January-October, according to Pozirk<\/em>\u2019s analysis of the National Statistical Committee’s (Bie\u0142stat) data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first ten months of 2025, the economy grew by 1.5 percent to 206.8 billion rubels in today\u2019s money (some $69.6 billion).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GDP of Minsk amounted to 74.4 billion rubels; the Minsk region, to 44.6 billion rubels; the Brest region, to 27.2 billion rubels; the Homiel region, to 25.6 billion rubels; the Hrodna region, to 24 billion rubels; the Viciebsk region, to 20.6 billion rubels; the Mahilo\u016d region, to 18.2 billion rubels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The city of Minsk led the growth with 2.8 percent year on year, followed by the Homiel region with 2.5 percent and the Minsk region with 1.9 percent. The Viciebsk region lagged behind, posting a 1.1-percent decline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
