November 20, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0The European Parliament on November 26 will discuss<\/a> a statement from the European Commission on the EU response to \u201cthe continuous airspace violations and sabotage of critical infrastructure\u201d originating from Russia and Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The item was added to the agenda after the November 15 attacks on Poland\u2019s railway infrastructure allegedly carried out by two Ukrainians who later fled to Belarus. Warsaw has appealed to Minsk to extradite the two suspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agenda item is also linked to recent incursions into Lithuania by dozens of balloons launched from Belarus by cigarette smugglers. The incursions prompted Vilnius to close all border crossings with Belarus from late October to November 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
