The total number of arrests is significantly higher, the group added, noting that trials are taking place across Belarus on a daily basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The interior ministry informed the family of opposition politician Mika\u0142aj Statkievi\u010d, who refused to leave Belarus after being pardoned on September 11, that he is serving his original 14-year prison sentence.
