{"id":165862,"date":"2025-11-27T11:57:29","date_gmt":"2025-11-27T08:57:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/165862\/"},"modified":"2026-03-10T12:05:06","modified_gmt":"2026-03-10T12:05:06","slug":"reprisals-popular-youtube-channels-branded-extremist-content","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/165862\/","title":{"rendered":"Reprisals: popular YouTube channels branded extremist content"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>November 27, <em>Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> New cases of politically-motivated persecution were documented in Belarus on November 26, with new extremist content designations for Radio Plato project\u2019s social media and popular YouTube channels <em>BELSAT NOW<\/em> and <em>zhizn-malina<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other blacklisted content includes <em>getdonatehelp<\/em> on Instagram, <em>ChestnOK LIVE<\/em> on TikTok and several videos on YouTube about Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s contacts with US President Donald Trump&#8217;s administration, according to the information ministry\u2019s website. <strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At least 258 books and 208 authors are banned in Belarus for political reasons, the exiled Belarusian PEN reported. Five publishers have been forced to shut down over the past five years, it noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Belarusian legislation does not provide for the annulment of a pardon unless the person commits a new crime during the sentence that was terminated by the pardon, lawyer \u015aviat\u0142ana Ha\u0142a\u016dnijova said regarding the continued incarceration of opposition figure Mika\u0142aj Statkievi\u010d.
