November 28, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>Belarusian and Russian diplomats hosted a joint event in Belgium focusing on challenges and prospects of Eurasian security, the Belarusian foreign ministry said on Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 80 guests reportedly participated in the event, including diplomats, experts and analysts from Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia, as well as MEPs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Siarhiej Panasiuk, Belarusian charg\u00e9 d\u2019affaires in Belgium, criticized \u201cunilateral actions by certain Western states,\u201d which, in his opinion, undermine security and represent additional risks for regional stability. The diplomat called for \u201can active and wide-ranging dialogue among all parties, including Western states, on issues of Eurasian security in both multilateral and bilateral formats.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event also featured a \u201ccurated selection of key speeches from the Third Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security,\u201d the foreign ministry said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It remains unclear whether the event addressed the impact of Russia\u2019s full-scale war on Ukraine, in which the Belarusian authorities support the Kremlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
