This visit \u201cgave new impetus to the deepening of Belarusian-UAE relations,\u201d according to \u0141uka\u0161enka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Belarusian exports to the UAE have soared 62 times since 2021, with investments quadrupling, <em>Pozirk<\/em> reported earlier, based on analysis of publicly available data from 2021 and this year\u2019s official data, which indicated that two-way trade rose to $3.7 billion in 2024, with Belarusian exports at $3.66 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minsk also intensified military cooperation with the UAE as Belarus\u2019 Defense Minister Viktar Chrenin met with Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, the UAE Armed Forces\u2019 chief of staff, in Minsk two months ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chrenin noted a huge potential for bilateral military ties after the defense agencies held the first meeting of a joint interdepartmental commission this year and signed a plan for bilateral military cooperation.
