December 5, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The Belarusian airline Bie\u0142avija will resume passenger flights between Minsk and Tel Aviv in Israel on January 8, after suspending the route in 2022, the carrier\u2019s press office said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline will operate the route twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, with estimated flight time of about six hours one way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fares start at $232 for a one-way ticket and $460 for a round trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last month, Washington lifted sanctions against Bie\u0142avija. However, the airline remains banned from the European Union following the May 2021 forced landing of a Ryanair aircraft in Minsk by Belarusian security forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two days ago, Israel\u2019s airline Arkia also announced plans to launch direct passenger air service between Tel-Aviv and Minsk in February 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
