December 10, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Belarus saw a 0.4-percent rise in consumer prices in November, the National Statistical Committee (Bie\u0142stat) reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food prices rose by 0.8 percent, while non-food prices and services climbed by 0.02 and 0.1 percent, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prices have increased by 6.5 percent since last December and 7 percent in the 12 months to November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compared to November 2024, food prices rose by 9.9 percent; non-food products, by 2.6 percent; services, by 7.7 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year\u2019s inflation stood at 5.2 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The government was expecting inflation to slow down to 5 percent this year, but officials indicated recently that the target might be unfeasible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
