{"id":167576,"date":"2025-12-10T16:16:50","date_gmt":"2025-12-10T13:16:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/167576\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","slug":"iran-offers-belarus-to-use-southern-ports-as-gateways-to-india-africa-and-southeast-asia","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/167576\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran offers Belarus to use southern ports as gateways to India, Africa and Southeast Asia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>December 10,\u00a0<em>Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0The Iranian industry minister offered Belarusian firms to use southern ports as gateways to India, Africa and Southeast Asia, speaking during a meeting of intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation in Tehran on December 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iranian Industry, Mining and Trade Minister Mohammad Atabak stressed the need for removing banking and transit obstacles, <em>Tehran Times<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tehrantimes.com\/news\/521413\/Iran-Belarus-hold-18th-Joint-Economic-committee-meeting-in-Tehran\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Belarusian Industry Minister Andrej Kuzniaco\u016d said Belarus is keen to move quickly on joint agreements to expand cooperation in economic and industrial technologies, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, machinery, home appliances, food products and agricultural goods. He underscored the importance of establishing joint production lines, advancing pharmaceutical and medical projects and updating investment and economic mechanisms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Belarusian minister identified transportation, transit corridors, scientific education and cultural tourism as priority areas for near-term action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the same day, Belarusian and Iranian defense officials met in Minsk for a session of a joint commission on military cooperation.
